Vida, I’m the girl you met at the SGI conference. It was so good to see you at BJ when you were taking the painting class!

Thank you for writing this article. I do need to put more time and effort in memorizing and meditating in the Word of God. You are right; watching much TV and playing video games will not do us much good when hard times hit. We need to remind ourselves of what is important in life.

Do you remember when we saw each other in the BJU library a couple months ago? You told me to trust in the Lord. To my delight, the very next morning I read a verse in Psalms that said how blessed we are if we trust God! I believe it was Psalm 125:1.

Thank you for your inspiring post. You make a very good argument for memorizing Scripture in our age where we just Google OR Power Bible any scripture when we need it. I’d like to link here from my blog if that’s ok with you. Your post will no doubt spur many others to start or re-start memorizing God’s precious Word.

I really liked what you wrote here, and, for a while now, I have been thinking a lot about the possible future of persecution in America. I am personally convinced that there will come a time when the Bible will no longer be tolerated in our society and neither will those people who follow it. NOW is the time to memorize the word of God!
