This past weekend my family and I took a whirlwind trip to South Carolina and Georgia so that more family could see Kenny before he returns to Iraq.
After a delicious dinner, we all gathered in the living room to make a joyful noise to the Lord!
The next morning my family and I enjoyed a wonderful service at Mount Calvary Baptist Church.
After church, we had a picnic lunch at the beautiful Falls Park on the Reedy in downtown Greenville.
Then we drove to Watkinsville, Georgia to visit Uncle Steve and Aunt Glory.
We had a wonderful weekend seeing everyone again, hearing Kenny’s stories, singing, and sharing in the things of the Lord. Thank you, dear family, for your gracious hospitality!

I’m a little late to look at pictures…obviously because you have posted a lot over the past few weeks and I have not commented on any! What a terrible cousin I am turning out to be…Ha, Ha! Don’t pass that around though.
I truly have enjoyed looking through and reading all the updated posts. What a special blessing it was to spend time with Kenny! Thanks for not posting any “Crazy” pictures of myself. I know I can be a little eccentric…hee hee hee. Mercy is starting to take after her Mommy. I enjoyed the comment under Mercy’s “escape” picture. It made me laugh out loud.
The Vereniki (did I spell it right) dish looks superb! You’re right, it does sound and look like a lot of work. I’ve decided how I can eat/enjoy it and save time…you make it for me!!! Yes, I am so smart.
Well, when you get a free moment, I’ve finally updated our blog site. Natty and Emmy had their violin recital this morning. I think you will enjoy watching it.
Tell Sarah that Natty loved her card and picture drawings and that she misses her!
We love you all,
Christy for The Clan
