Time flew so quickly these past few weeks while Kenny was home! This past Thursday (July 17–the end of Kenny’s leave) dawned all too early! There was so much to do, we barely had time to eat the delicious pancakes Ashley prepared for breakfast. After devotions, we all drove to the airport, including Little Sarah, the dear little girl we tutor. She helped take a few of the many photographs we took. (Poor Kenny was the subject of so many photos, he felt like a celebrity.) Below are a few of our favorites.
“The LORD bless you, and keep you; The LORD make His face shine on you, And be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance on you, And give you peace” (Numbers 6:24-26).

Wow, Dearest Vida. While I finished commenting on the previous entry, I refresh only to see you updated again. You’re making me look bad..ha ha! Very efficient…you are back on track now for that sabbatical you took from February’s post.
Sarah takes very good pictures! The guy behind Kenny going up the plane…did Kenny know him? If not, he just might after the plane flight.
Will keep checking back for updates.

Another curiosity question…who gave Kenny his army haircut…looks pretty sophisticated!

That was one whirlwind of a visit!
Maybe next time you will have more time with Kenny. Tell little Sarah that we are really impressed with her photographer skills!
I can’t imagine who taught her!

Dear Sister,
wow, i don’t know what people see in that haircut. i think the ones i’ve gotten while home look so silly. i think the TCN’s here do a much better job. they are definently quicker and they cut it shorter!
Proud of you!
Kenny
