This past weekend my family and I took a whirlwind trip to South Carolina and Georgia so that more family could see Kenny before he returns to Iraq.

Natty and Marie worked hard to make a welcome sign for Kenny.

Kenny kept us enthralled with tales from Iraq.

A brief moment of contentment...

Content to be held for just a moment ...

After a delicious dinner, we all gathered in the living room to make a joyful noise to the Lord!

Everyone sang.

The next morning my family and I enjoyed a wonderful service at Mount Calvary Baptist Church.

After church, we had a picnic lunch at the beautiful Falls Park on the Reedy in downtown Greenville.

Then we drove to Watkinsville, Georgia to visit Uncle Steve and Aunt Glory.

Everyone enjoyed Kenny's stories and pictures.

We had a wonderful weekend seeing everyone again, hearing Kenny’s stories, singing, and sharing in the things of the Lord.  Thank you, dear family, for your gracious hospitality!
